Comment Starters

There are three main reasons ot leave comments on the blogs of other people:

1.) To let them know they have an audience.
2.) To encourage people to write
3.) To make people think more deeply about an issue.

With credit given to Anne Davis of the U.S., and Mrs.McLeay of Australia, here are some comment starters:

# Another thing to consider is…….

# I found myself wondering…….

Use these when starting your comments. It will help you think about something to write and help the people you are writing to think more deeply.

    Heyy Mr.Fisher! Hows school? Is my sister being bad.. Haha.. I’m back to blogging again.. Yay.. I’m glad the blogs couldn’t be deleted. Anyways I remember comment starters.. Do the grade 7/8’s like blogging? I hope they do that was one of the funnest things we did.. then again everything was fun..
    I’m reading Speak in L.a so it’ll take awhile to finish.. I miss having you as a teacher.. Highschools great and all but we have two classes with seating plans because of the guys… well everyone else to for laughing but when will they mature? Anyways I’ll talk to you later bye!

    Haha Nasya when will they mature? never. Nothings changed since we were 5 and it’s not about to start now luckily you weren’t here yet. I’m more shocked we only have seating plans in ONLY 2 classes.

    Hi Mr. Fisher, how’s it going? I remember those comment starters, the four grade sevens last year learned them…they’re pretty useful for writing comments on people’s blogs. I like getting comments…makes me feel special :) haha. Anyway, when I go to highschool next year, I agree with Nasya that I’ll miss having you as a teacher, and I’m not looking forward to it at all, way to much homework. Well, I think that’s pretty much it. Bye :)

    Hey Mr. Fisher! How’s it going? Haven’t seen you for a while. Anyways I just wanted to say I had a great year last year with you being my teacher and I bet all of your new students will have a good one too!
