Reading What Others Have Written

A man named Will Richardson recently said, “When I’m having trouble writing, its not because I’m not spending enough time writing, its because I’m not spending enough time reading.”

To be an effective blogger who writes things that are interesting and meaningful for yourself and for others, you need to spend time with things written by others.

How much time do you spend with content that others have written?

I agree Mr. Fisher. I haven’t been posting much on my blog lately because I haven’t had time to read. Every time I sit down to write, I find myself heading off to read first. It’s through reading others that we start to think, when we start to think, ideas are generated, and those ideas come out of our fingers on our blogs, and that my friend is what they call learning. ;)
