This blog is our classroom portal. It is the space for a combined grade 7 / 8 class at Joseph H. Kerr School in Snow Lake, MB. We are a class that works hard to connect with other learners around the globe. We blog, we shoot videos, we podcast, we use wikis to help us plan and to connect ourselves with what we are learning.
We think globally.

Thank you so much for including our UAB in Antarctica on your blog. Just a note, the item leaves out the “at Birmingham” from our name. We are separate from the University of Alabama, which is in Tuscaloosa. Again, we are very appreciative of the inclusion.

I have subscribed to your classroom blog for about six months, and I would really like to make contact with you and your class. My 7th and 8th graders have been looking for some other students to collaborate with on their wikis, blogs, and/or podcasts. If you would like to check out some of the stuff that they/we are doing, go over to http://www.bloglines.com/public/benwilkoff or http://yongesonne.edublogs.org or http://bhwilkoff.edublogs.org. Thanks for being such an inspiration. I hope to hear from you soon. My e-mail is benjamin.wilkoff@dcsdk12.org
