Just so you know, I checked on the download numbers for our ITL videos and our radio plays this morning.

So far, they have been listened to and watched almost 8 500 times!

Amazing… Shows the quality of the work that you do. It also shows the importance of doing quality work.

Friday, June 22nd – English Language Arts

Monday, June 25th – Math

Tuesday, June 26th – Social Studies

Wednesday, June 27th – Science

Just to let you know that my blog is living in the midst of a spam storm (again). Just as earlier in the year, the spam is rolling in. Hopefully it won’t move from my blog over to yours, but please make sure you are moderating your comments and that your spam stopper is turned on and working.

Hopefully the storm will soon pass us by.

PB Wiki Updates

PB Wiki has made some changes recently and updated their service. Cool widgets like YackPacks let you install a walkie – talkie right on your wiki, you can also embed YouTube videos, insert a calendar and a Bubbleshare slideshow. So the next time you are thinking about a form of representation for a project, it is definitely something useful that you could consider.

International Polar Year

Looking for a “cool” new blog to watch?

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is participating in the research that is happening for the International Polar Year. As part of this research they have started a blog, a YouTube channel and a flickr set. All of this is coming from Antarctica, where researchers are staying and learning about climate change.

Finally.

Here is our intro video. We chose to do something a bit different from the other schools. Our short video has a bit of music we composed ourselves and a few voices from our classroom introducing our small community (about 1 000 people!) our school (K – 12 about 175 students) and our classroom. Let us know what you think!
